In a major crackdown on traffic violations, Sri Lanka Police have announced that legal action was taken against 7,676 individuals for various traffic offenses in a 24-hour period, which ended at 6 a.m. today. Among those arrested, 413 were found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, while 49 others were apprehended for reckless and dangerous driving.
