Former Sports and Youth Affairs Minister and Presidential Candidate Roshan Ranasinghe has joined the Mawbima Janatha Party (MJP), led by entrepreneur Dilith Jayaweera. Ranasinghe has been appointed as the Chairman of the party.
Additionally, former Minister Prof. Channa Jayasumana has been named Vice Chairman of the MJP, while former MP Milan Jayatilleke has been appointed as the party's Gampaha District Organizer.
