President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed two advisors to guide him on matters related to Sri Lanka's finance and economy, Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Vijitha Herath announced today.
The appointments, which are honorary and come without salary or benefits, include Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Chairman Duminda Hulangamuwa and Prof. Anil Fernando of Sri Jayawardenapura University. Both have been appointed as Senior Consultants of Economic Affairs and Finance, effective from 24th September 2024. The appointments were approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
