Samagi Jana Balavegaya Member of Parliament Talatha Athukorala has resigned from the position of Member of Parliament today.
She made a statement in Parliament and said that she will resign from the position of Member of Parliament and the Samagi Jana Balawega party.
Thalatha Athukorala is the sister of former general Secretary Gamini Athukorala.
