President Ranil Wickremesinghe landed in India today to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is set to commence his third term in office this evening. 

Upon his arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, President Wickremesinghe was greeted by Secretary of the Indian Foreign Ministry P. Kumaran, Indian Ocean Affairs Secretary Puneet Agrawal, Indian High Commissioner in Colombo Santhosh Jha, and Sri Lankan High Commissioner in India Shenuka Seneviratne. 

The welcoming ceremony was marked by a performance from traditional Indian dancers, adding a cultural touch to the official reception.
