The Sri Lankan Parliament is scheduled to convene today, August 21, at 9:30 a.m., with several parliamentary activities and debates planned throughout the day.
From 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., parliamentary business listed under Standing Order 22(1) to 22(6) will be taken up.
The period from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. has been allocated for questions for oral answers, while questions under Standing Order 27(2) will be taken up from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
From 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Parliament is scheduled to debate an adjournment motion to be presented by the Government.
