The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Moosa Zameer, will undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka from June 3 to June 6, 2024, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During his visit, Minister Zameer is scheduled to pay courtesy calls on President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena. These meetings underscore the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and discussing key regional issues.

In addition to these high-level engagements, Minister Zameer and his delegation will participate in official bilateral discussions with Sri Lanka's Foreign Minister, Ali Sabry, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These talks aim to enhance cooperation between the two nations in various sectors.

Accompanying Minister Zameer will be senior officials from the Maldives Ministry of Foreign Affairs, highlighting the significance of this diplomatic mission.
