A group of thieves broke into the residence of the late Ronnie de Mal, former Minister of Finance and Planning, located in front of Post 103 in Devinuwara last night (05). They reportedly stole several valuables and items.
The house's security guard filed a complaint with the Gandara police station and Ronnie de Mal's private secretary also lodged a complaint with Inspector General of Police, Deshabandu Thennakoon.
In addition to the Gandara Police, a special police team is conducting investigations under the directive of the IGP.
