Second National Convention of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna under the leadership of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa will be held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo today (15).
SLPP members including the founder and national organizer of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Basil Rajapaksa, ministers and leaders of other political parties are expected to participate
to the convention. All political parties and groups which are in alliance with the SLPPhave been invited for this convention. Basil Rajapaksa said the Party will announce its programme or to move the country forward at this convention. The convention is scheduled to start at 2 pm.
