A special discussion on the strengthening of bilateral security relations between Sri Lanka and Russia and international information security was held today, the Public Security Ministry said.

The meeting was held at the Ministry office and was chaired by Minister of Public Security Tiran Alles with the participation of the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev and Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms, Dr. Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe.

A high-level delegation representing Russia, also including Alexander Nikolaevich and Deputy Secretary Oleg Vladimirovich joined the discussion, and a group of Ministry officials and Acting Inspector General of Police, Deshabandu Tennakoon attended the meeting.
