The Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) has announced that its online appointment booking facility will resume operations from today (02).
Accordingly, members of the public can book appointments by visiting the official website, dmtappointments.dmt.gov.lk.
The facility enables the public to reserve appointments for various services provided at the DMT's Narahenpita office, including new vehicle registrations, transfers of vehicle ownership and technical-related matters.
The department expects the online booking system to reduce long queues at its office and minimise waiting times, particularly during morning hours.
