Litro Gas Lanka Ltd. has announced that domestic LP gas prices will remain unchanged throughout November.
The company said prices would remain at their existing levels despite rising international gas prices and challenging foreign exchange conditions.
Accordingly, the 12.5-kilogram domestic gas cylinder will continue to be sold at Rs. 4,365, while the 5-kilogram cylinder will remain at Rs. 1,750 and the 2.3-kilogram cylinder at Rs. 815.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development R. M. Jayawardena said discussions are underway to provide Litro Gas to customers of Laughs Gas as a solution to the prevailing shortage of domestic gas.
He noted that Laughs Gas has currently suspended its gas supplies to the market entirely.
