An international media conference on China-Sri Lanka media cooperation was held in Colombo under the theme, “Trust and Common Victory – Responsibilities of the Media in Building a China-Sri Lanka Community with a Shared Future.”
The conference was jointly organised by the International Communication Centre for South Asia and Southeast Asia of China’s Yunnan Province and the Sri Lanka-China Social and Cultural Cooperation Association.
The event was held under the patronage of Deputy Minister of Mass Media Dr. Kaushalya Ariyaratne and Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Wei Huaxiang.
Senior media professionals and scholars from both countries participated in the conference, which also featured expert lectures and cultural programmes.
