The National Water Supply and Drainage Board says a continuous water supply is currently being maintained across the island despite the prevailing dry weather conditions.
However, Chairman Chandana Bandara has urged the public to use water sparingly and avoid unnecessary wastage.
He called on consumers to conserve water and use it responsibly, particularly as dry weather conditions continue to prevail in several parts of the country.
