The order was issued by Colombo High Court Judge Nadee Aparna Suwandurugoda after the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) informed the court that it had been unable to establish contact with the two witnesses.
The judge directed that summons be served on the witnesses in accordance with the procedure set out in the Judicial Service Commission circular governing the issuance of summons to foreign witnesses.
