Upon arrival, the visitors were welcomed with traditional cultural and artistic performances organized by the handling travel agencies.
Before reaching Colombo, Mein Schiff 6 made a port call at Hambantota International Port on May 19. During their southern stop, tourists explored major wildlife and cultural attractions, including Yala, Bundala, and Udawalawe National Parks, as well as the sacred town of Katharagama.
A special hospitality and welfare program was jointly organized by the Ruhunu Tourism Bureau and the Hambantota Municipal Council to ensure a memorable experience for the visitors.
