A high-level discussion was held at the Ministry of Ports and Civil Aviation on 19 May 2026 between Deputy Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation Janitha Ruwan Kodituwakku and Head of Crew Development of Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG, Andreas Niehage.
The talks focused on strengthening ongoing cooperation between Sri Lanka and Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG, with particular emphasis on expanding international employment opportunities, enhancing training pathways for cadets, and improving professional standards in the maritime sector.
