According to the Bloomberg report, the US Air Force has agreed to buy an undisclosed number of interceptor drones from the Florida-based company.
“This is about American drone dominance. The drone threat is real – it’s here. Cheap drones are beating expensive defences every day, and American warfighters are exposed,” Brett Velicovich, the founder of Powerus, said in a post on X.
“The economics of modern warfare have flipped, and we’ve been slow to catch up. Our tech flips them back. This is about saving American lives,” Velicovich added.
