The Railways Department has decided to temporarily withdraw the crew of the 'Sagarika' express train from active duty following its derailment on April 24.
The train, which was traveling from Beliatta to Maradana, jumped the tracks last Friday, leading to significant disruptions. In the wake of the incident, authorities have moved to suspend the operational duties of the primary staff involved as investigations commence.
