The walk began at the Beligammana Raja Maha Viharaya, with participants setting out on a peaceful march expected to conclude at Tholangamuwa Central College.
The walk, which symbolizes unity, peace, and spiritual harmony, has covered significant ground over the past three days. On the first day, members of the Maha Sangha, including Venerable Pannakara Thera, accompanied by a certified service dog named Aloka, journeyed from Rangiri Dambulla Raja Maha Vihara to Aluvihara Temple, covering nearly 47 kilometers.
On the second day, the procession moved from Aluvihara to the historic city of Kandy. The third day saw participants depart from the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and travel approximately 25 kilometers to reach Beligammana by evening.
As the walk progresses, it continues to draw attention for its message of peace and unity, with religious leaders and supporters walking together across the island.
