The fourth India–Sri Lanka Diving Exercise (DIVEX 2026), currently being conducted in Colombo, is further enhancing maritime cooperation and professional engagement between the two nations.
The exercise, involving the Indian Navy and the Sri Lanka Navy, focuses on advanced underwater operations, including mixed-gas diving drills carried out off the coast of Colombo.
The initiative is aimed at improving joint capabilities in underwater search, rescue, and salvage missions, while also strengthening operational coordination in the Indian Ocean region.
