According to the CPC, the institution has misused media freedom by publishing false and misleading information, which has negatively impacted the corporation’s reputation and operations, as well as the broader national economy.
In its complaint, the CPC stated that such conduct amounts to a serious breach of accepted media standards and professional ethics.
The corporation has urged the relevant authorities to take immediate action by placing the media institution under regulatory oversight to address the alleged violations.
