Netanyahu’s lawyer reportedly cited “security and diplomatic” reasons for the prime minister’s request.
The trial is currently in the cross-examination phase of Netanyahu’s own testimony.
He currently faces trial on three corruption charges dating back to 2019.
This is the latest in a series of delays in the trials, with his appearances postponed multiple times.
The postponements and interruptions have often been linked to events in Israel’s wars on Gaza, Lebanon and Iran, with Netanyahu using them as justification to avoid attending hearings.
