NTC Director General Nilan Miranda stated that although diesel prices were increased from midnight yesterday (09), it would not affect the current bus fare structure.
He said the existing fares will remain unchanged for the time being.
Meanwhile, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) announced that the price of auto diesel has been increased by Rs. 22 per litre and Lanka Super Diesel by Rs. 24 per litre with effect from midnight yesterday.
