A national conference organised by the National People’s Power (NPP) is scheduled to be held at the P.D. Sirisena Grounds in Maligawatte, Colombo, today (November 7) at 9.30 a.m., under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
A large number of trade union leaders and activists representing various sectors are expected to attend the conference.
The event will be held under the themes “Two Years of Our Government – Good News for the Country” and “Let’s Work – Let’s Build the Country.”
Discussions are expected to focus on production, initiatives aimed at national progress, the country’s future vision, developments in the trade union sector, and the responsibility of the working community in promoting Sri Lanka’s economic and social development.
