Addressing Parliament, the Deputy Minister said the ongoing conflict has led to restrictions on international shipping and air travel, which may result in delays in the delivery of certain essential services in the country.
He explained that these global transport limitations could disrupt supply chains and logistics, potentially affecting services expected by the public.
In light of the situation, the government has decided to extend the state of emergency currently in force to ensure that essential services across the country continue without major disruption.
“The current war situation has led to restrictions on shipping and air travel. As a result, delays may occur in providing some essential services that the public expects. The next few weeks will be crucial, and special attention must be given to maintaining these services,” the Deputy Minister told Parliament.
He further said that the extension of the emergency regulations is intended to strengthen the government's ability to maintain essential operations and respond quickly to any disruptions caused by the international situation.
