An International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka today (10) to conduct the seventh review of the economic reform programme implemented under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) arrangement.
The delegation, led by IMF Sri Lanka Mission Chief Evan Papageorgiou, is expected to remain in the country until September 23.
During the visit, the IMF team is expected to hold discussions with government officials on recent economic developments, progress in fiscal reforms and other matters related to the country’s economic reform programme.
