Sri Lanka’s official reserve assets increased by 4.6% to USD 6.905 billion by the end of August 2026, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) announced.
The country’s official reserve assets stood at USD 6.6 billion at the end of July 2026.
The Central Bank further noted that the reserve figure includes funds received under the currency swap arrangement with the People’s Bank of China.
