Special Exposition of Sacred Tooth Relic to Conclude on April 27

The “Siri Dalada Vandanawa,” the special exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic at the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy, will come to a close on Sunday, April 27, as previously scheduled.

In an official statement issued today (25), Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela Bandara confirmed that the exposition will not be extended.

“We have been fortunate to have more devotees worshipping than planned,” he said, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming public response. The exposition, which has drawn thousands of devotees from across the country, provided a rare opportunity for the faithful to pay homage to one of the most sacred Buddhist relics.

Authorities at the Sri Dalada Maligawa have urged the public to make their final visits within the remaining days, while maintaining proper decorum and respecting temple guidelines.
