The Western Provincial Secretary has announced that all Vehicle Revenue Permit issuance counters within the Western Province will be closed on the 5th and 6th of May.
According to the statement, the temporary closure is due to the deployment of officials for election duties during that period.
Motorists are advised that services will resume as normal once the counters reopen. Importantly, on the first day of reopening, vehicle revenue licenses will be issued without the imposition of any fines. Applicants will be required to pay only the standard prescribed fee.
The authorities encourage vehicle owners to plan accordingly and make use of the opportunity to renew their licenses without penalty upon reopening.
