Investigation Launched into Misuse of Police Security to a private event

 According to SSP Manathungawhile police security had been legally provided for the ceremony, preliminary reports suggest it may have been misused beyond its intended scope. Details regarding the nature of the misuse have not yet been disclosed.

“The matter is being taken seriously and a thorough investigation is currently underway to determine if any protocols were violated,” SSP Manathunga stated.
