Sri Lanka Police has announced a comprehensive traffic management and public safety initiative ahead of the upcoming exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic, known as 'Siri Dalada Wandanawa', scheduled to begin on April 18 at the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy.

In a major effort to ensure the safety and convenience of devotees attending the religious event, a total of 10,000 police officers have been deployed across key locations in Kandy. This deployment will focus on managing the anticipated increase in foot and vehicle traffic, while also maintaining public order and supporting event logistics.

In addition to the large-scale personnel deployment, the Information Technology Division of the Sri Lanka Police has introduced a new digital platform designed to assist devotees and enhance coordination with law enforcement during the exposition. Through this system, attendees can access vital information, receive real-time updates, and obtain guidance regarding the event.

Devotees are encouraged to visit the official website daladadekma.police.lk to stay informed about traffic arrangements, safety instructions, and other essential services provided during the Siri Dalada Wandanawa.

This initiative reflects the commitment of Sri Lanka Police to facilitate a peaceful and organized environment for the thousands of pilgrims expected to visit the Sacred Temple of the Tooth over the coming days.
