A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck Myanmar on Sunday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said. The quake was at a depth of 35 km (21.75 miles), EMSC said.
Earlier on Friday, Myanmar had witnessed an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter Scale as well. The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 10km, making it susceptible to aftershocks.
