Indian Navy ship arrives at Colombo Port

The Indian Navy's warship 'INS SAHYADRI' arrived in the island yesterday (4) for an official visit, and the Sri Lanka Navy welcomed the ship at the Colombo Port in accordance with naval traditions.

The frigate-type warship 'INS SAHYADRI' that has arrived in the island is 143 meters long and has a crew of 320. It is reported that Captain Rajat Kumar will be the commanding officer.

During the period of the 'INS SAHYADRI' ship's stay in the island, its crew is scheduled to participate in various programs organized by the Sri Lanka Navy to promote friendship between the navies of the two countries and to visit the island's tourist attractions.

Furthermore, the 'INS SAHYADRI' ship is scheduled to depart the island on 07th April 2025, concluding its official tour.
