
Prime Minister Narendra Modi Arrives in Sri Lanka

The Prime Minister landed at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake earlier today, where he was warmly received by Sri Lanka’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vijitha Herath.
Prime Minister Modi is accompanied by a high-powered delegation, including India’s Minister of External Affairs, Dr. S. Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla, along with several senior officials of the Government of India.
This visit is expected to further strengthen the long-standing ties between India and Sri Lanka, covering areas such as trade, security, and cultural exchange.
The three-day visit is seen as an opportunity to enhance cooperation on a range of issues, particularly in the realms of economic development and regional security.
