Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa visited the embassies of Myanmar and Thailand in Colombo today to express his condolences over the devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck the region.
During his visit, Premadasa met with the ambassadors and diplomatic staff of both countries, personally conveying Sri Lanka’s heartfelt sympathies and solidarity in the wake of the tragedy. The Opposition Leader assured the embassy officials that Sri Lanka stands ready to offer any support necessary to assist in the recovery and relief efforts.
