President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has expressed his determination to expose the significant group behind the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks before the upcoming April 21st anniversary. Speaking at a public rally in Deiyandara, he emphasized that the investigations into the attack will be conducted swiftly, impartially, and formally.

The President also highlighted the government's efforts to stabilize the country's economy, asserting that the journey to a stable economy has begun and reaffirmed his commitment to never allow the economy to collapse again.

The rally, part of a series of public events organized by the National People's Power (NPP) to celebrate their expected victory in the local government elections, saw a large turnout. The event was held under the theme, "Victory is certain and the village is ours," and featured speeches from various NPP public representatives.

In his address, President Dissanayake proudly noted that, for the first time, the people have succeeded in creating a government free from corruption and fraud. He further assured citizens that every tax paid would be used responsibly and securely for the welfare of the people.
