President Dissanayake Pledges Continued Fight Against Corruption

This statement was made at the Middeniya rally, which was organized to ensure the success of the National People's Power (NPP) candidates in the upcoming local government elections.

The rally, held under the theme "The victory is certain and the village is ours," was attended by a large number of supporters. Several public representatives of the NPP also addressed the gathering, emphasizing their party's commitment to transparent governance.

The President reiterated that the law applies equally to everyone and that the current government is dedicated to proving this principle in practice. He further assured the public that more legal actions would be taken against those involved in corrupt activities.

This rally in Middeniya follows the success of a similar event in Beliatta, where the NPP held its first rally to confirm the victory of their candidates in the local government elections. The Beliatta rally also saw large participation, with NPP representatives highlighting that the people are now in a position to elect a government that is free from corruption and fraudulent practices.

Additionally, the NPP held another rally in Tissamaharama, continuing their campaign under the theme "Victory is certain and the village is ours." At this event, President Dissanayake stressed the importance of winning local government institutions free from fraud, corruption, and commissions. He reiterated that the National People's Power is the only party capable of achieving this goal.

With rallies across multiple towns, the National People's Power is positioning itself as the party of transparency, with a strong focus on eliminating corruption and ensuring accountability at all levels of government.
