Sri Lanka Expresses condolences with Myanmar &Thailand

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of those who have tragically lost their lives, and we wish a swift and full recovery to those who have been injured.

The Government of Sri Lanka is closely monitoring the situation and remains committed to providing any necessary assistance to the affected regions. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those impacted by this natural disaster during this challenging time.

Sri Lankans residing in Myanmar and Thailand are urged to remain vigilant, prioritize their safety, and stay in communication with the respective Sri Lanka Embassies in Yangon and Bangkok for any consular support or guidance. The Embassies are available to assist and provide updates on the evolving situation.

The Sri Lankan Government continues to express its unwavering support to Myanmar and Thailand in the face of this tragedy. We will stand together with the people of both countries as they work toward recovery and rebuilding.
