In order to enhance the quality of education at state universities and government higher education institutions, a series of student forums were held in the past few weeks at the Isurupaya Ministry of Education and the Word Pedesa Ministry of Higher Education. These discussions focused on addressing the unresolved student issues.

During the forums, university students had the opportunity to engage in extensive discussions with Dr. Madhura Senavirathna, the Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education, regarding their academic and welfare-related issues. The students were also informed about the government's upcoming interventions.

Along with these discussions, representatives from student unions of Sri Lanka's Advanced Technological Institute, Rajarata University, and the University of Aesthetic Studies also participated in discussions about the specific issues within their respective academic fields.

At present, representatives from student unions of several universities, including Jayawardenepura University, Peradeniya University, Jaffna University, Vavuniya University, Sri Lanka Sabaragamuwa University, Colombo University, and the Sri Lanka Hinx University, joined the forum discussions.
