The acceptance of nominations for the upcoming Local Government (LG) Elections will conclude today, March 20, at 12:00 noon. The Election Commission has confirmed that no nominations will be accepted after this deadline.
The nomination process, which began on March 17, is for 336 Local Government institutions across the country. The Election Commission has also stated that the election date will be announced following the conclusion of the nomination period.
Candidates who wish to stand for election in these institutions must ensure their nominations are submitted before the cutoff time to be eligible for consideration.
