The third and final Twenty20 match between the Sri Lanka and New Zealand women's cricket teams was abandoned due to rain, resulting in a draw for the three-match series.
Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. They were off to a solid start, reaching 101 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 14.1 overs when rain halted play. Unfortunately, the weather conditions worsened, and the match could not be resumed.
After deliberation, the match was officially abandoned, and the series concluded in a draw. The two teams had previously shared victories in the first two matches, leaving the series result unsettled.
Both teams will now look forward to their upcoming fixtures as they prepare for future international competitions.
