Over Rs. 12 Billion in Aswesuma Allowances to be Credited by Today(12)

The Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development has announced that over Rs. 12 billion in welfare benefits under the Aswesuma Welfare Benefit Payment scheme will be credited to the accounts of beneficiaries by today.
According to Additional Commissioner R.G.R. Rajapaksa, a total of Rs. 12,597,695,000 will be distributed to 1,732,263 families across the country. The funds will be directly credited to the respective beneficiaries' bank accounts, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for recipients.
The Aswesuma program continues to provide essential support to thousands of families, with the March payments marking another milestone in the government's commitment to assisting its citizens.
Beneficiaries are encouraged to check their bank accounts for the credited amounts.
