The Commonwealth Day Service held at Westminster Abbey marked the 76th anniversary of the Commonwealth, with King Charles and Queen Camilla leading the royal family in a momentous ceremony.

Attended by key members of the British royal family, the service saw the presence of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Anne, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, underscoring the unity and importance of the Commonwealth.

The service, a key event in the Commonwealth calendar, featured a spectacular procession of flag bearers from all 56 Commonwealth nations, symbolizing the diversity and solidarity of the international community. Among the distinguished flag bearers was Ms. Sandaru Gangoda, representing Sri Lanka, who proudly carried her nation's flag during the procession.
