Former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Deshabandu Tennakoon has approached the Court of Appeal with a writ petition, seeking an order to prevent his arrest. The petition, filed through his legal representatives, requests the issuance of an interim injunction to stay the arrest warrant that was issued against him by the Matara Magistrate�s Court.
