
Sri Lanka Welcomes 530,746 Tourists in Early March 2025

In a statement, the SLTDA highlighted that 37,768 tourists have already visited the island in the first five days of March alone. This surge in tourist arrivals is seen as a promising sign of the country’s recovering tourism industry after the global challenges of the past few years.
The authority further revealed that the majority of these visitors have come from Russia, India, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France. These nations have continued to show strong interest in Sri Lanka as a top destination for leisure and cultural experiences.
