Sri Lanka Welcomes 530,746 Tourists in Early March 2025

 In a statement, the SLTDA highlighted that 37,768 tourists have already visited the island in the first five days of March alone. This surge in tourist arrivals is seen as a promising sign of the country’s recovering tourism industry after the global challenges of the past few years.

The authority further revealed that the majority of these visitors have come from Russia, India, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France. These nations have continued to show strong interest in Sri Lanka as a top destination for leisure and cultural experiences.

Sri Lanka’s diverse offerings, from its rich history to its stunning beaches and natural landscapes, remain major attractions for international travelers. With the ongoing efforts to enhance tourist experiences and infrastructure, the country is poised to continue benefiting from a robust tourism recovery throughout 2025.
