Dates announced for Special Exposition of Sacred Tooth Relic

The Diyawadana Nilame of the Sri Dalada Maligawa, Pradeep Nilanga Dela, has announced that a special exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic will be open to the public after the Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebrations. The event follows a request from President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and will take place at the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy on 18th April, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Diyawadana Nilame of the Sri Dalada Maligawa, Pradeep Nilanga Dela, has announced that a special exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic will be open to the public after the Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebrations. The event follows a request from President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and will take place at the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy from 18th April.

This special exposition will continue for 10 days, starting on the 18th of April, with visiting hours from 12:00 noon to 5:30 p.m. The Sacred Tooth Relic, an important symbol of Buddhist heritage and spiritual significance, will be on display for the public to pay homage and witness.

The exposition is expected to draw a large number of devotees and visitors from across the country, as well as tourists eager to experience one of Sri Lanka's most sacred cultural treasures.
