Landslide Warning Extended for Two Districts

The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) has extended the landslide warning for the Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts until further notice. This announcement covers specific areas within the districts, urging residents to remain alert to potential landslide risks.
The warning applies to the following areas in the Badulla District: Hali Ela, Badulla, Kandaketiya, Uva Paranagama, Meegahakivula, and Suranathota Divisional Secretariat areas. Additionally, the NBRO has issued a Stage 01 landslide warning for the Walapane Divisional Secretariat area in the Nuwara Eliya District.
