The Railway Department has announced that the Bloemendal railway crossing will be completely closed tomorrow, March 1st, for urgent repairs. In an official statement, the department explained that the closure is necessary to carry out emergency repairs on the railway line running from Orugodawatte to the port.
The closure will take place from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM tomorrow. Motorists are advised to avoid the area during these hours and use alternative routes to help minimize traffic congestion.
