Mr. Aravinda Sirinatha officially assumed duties as the new Chairman of the National Housing Development Authority (NHDA) today, taking charge at the NHDA's head office.

Mr. Sirinatha, a highly qualified professional, holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Kelaniya and a Postgraduate degree in Business Administration. Additionally, he has received education from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and has a wealth of experience in the private sector, having worked in various organizations.

In his first speech following the assumption of office, Mr. Sirinatha emphasized the importance of professionalism in the housing sector, stating that "politics and work should not be mixed." He reiterated his commitment to ensuring that the NHDA's initiatives and projects are carried out with integrity, efficiency, and a focus on delivering high-quality housing solutions to the people of Sri Lanka.

The National Housing Development Authority, under Mr. Sirinatha's leadership, is expected to continue its pivotal role in the development and improvement of the country's housing infrastructure.
